Position Available: Inside Sales

Job Summary:

Responsible for analyzing customer product needs and obtaining orders for equipment/systems. (Reports to US Sales Manager)

Essential Functions, Roles, and Responsibilities

  • Practice safe work habits and comply with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs, and regulations.
  • Promptly enter sales orders in Riger.
  • Perform same day planning on equipment and/or order building.
  • Ensure the accuracy of open sales orders, net pricing and that orders do not contain obsolete or invalid part numbers/descriptions and customer requirements.
  • Effectively manage and utilize customer property within customer requirements.
  • Communicate changes and/or cancellations to customer requirements and delivery issues to employee responsible for account.
  • Proactively pursue compensation for expediting charges incurred through sales prior to manufacturing or shipping.
    Participate in regularly scheduled meetings.
  • Deliver completed tickets to service, for signature when job goes along with other required paperwork such as test charts, etc.
  • Provide input and assistance to other functional areas to improve processes and customer satisfaction levels.
  • Keep abreast of new products, specifications and industry trends, competitor strengths and weaknesses.
  • Deliver build packets to the shop, when returned record all rental asset numbers, serial numbers and or customer property numbers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education, Training, Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of drilling/production and equipment.
  • Intermediate Computer Skills.
  • Intermediate Language Skills, Intermediate Mathematical Skills and Intermediate Reasoning Ability.
