Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, maintenance, and repair services for our clients’ equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Travel to client sites to perform installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment and systems.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly and in compliance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Diagnose technical issues and provide timely and effective solutions to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools, software, and technical manuals to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions.
  • Perform calibration, adjustment, and testing of equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex issues and coordinate resources as needed to resolve customer concerns.
  • Provide training and technical support to customers on equipment  operation, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Document service activities, including work performed, parts used, and customer communication, accurately and comprehensively.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and supervisors to ensure clear understanding of service requirements and expectations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role, preferably in a related industry (e.g., manufacturing, construction).
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools, software, and technical documentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
