Keeping your stuffing box adequately maintained while monitoring your seal integrity and confirming rod rotation is crucial. The mAutoGrease+ compensates for the normal loss of grease using predetermined set points, automatically triggering the mAutoGrease+ pump. The system will report if the grease pressure drops to zero a set number of times indicating action is required on either tightening the gland nut or replacing the seals. The rod rotator sensor package is a bolt-on system that monitors the rotation of your rod rotator to ensure proper operation is taking place.
SEAL INTEGRITY MONITORING
As grease is pumped between the seals in the stuffing box, the mAutoGrease+
monitors and maintains set pressures. During normal operation, grease is slowly
displaced from the cavity causing the seal pack pressure to slowly decline. When a
predetermined low set pressure point is reached, the pump will automatically turn
on and replenish to a set high pressure.
