Overview
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager for our sales team and automation team. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and driving revenue.
Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities with upstream oil and gas operators and other qualified opportunities, producers, and service companies focused on automation, wellhead, and sand management needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including engineering, operations, and procurement teams.
- Collaborate with the technical and project development teams to customize proposals, demonstrations, and pilots that address customer pain points (e.g., sand management, safety, efficiency, and cost reduction).
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Identify and pursue new clients, including oilfield service companies, operators, or government entities, through networking, cold outreach, and industry events.
- Negotiate and establish partnerships, joint ventures, or alliances to enhance service offerings or market reach.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry forums to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
- Track and report on business development activities, pipeline status, and market insights to senior management.
- Ensure all business activities adhere to industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in business development or sales within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong understanding of upstream, midstream, or downstream operations and market dynamics.
- Proven track record of securing high-value contracts and meeting revenue targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to navigate complex regulatory and environmental frameworks.
- Proficiency in CRM software and market analysis tools.
- Willingness to travel as needed (domestic and international).
