Shop Technician
SandPro is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Shop Technician. As a Shop Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our shop and providing exceptional service to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Tear down and rebuild of various oilfield components to customer requirements.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and prevent equipment breakdowns.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a technician or mechanic, preferably in a shop environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools including hydraulic torque wrenches.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or training in a related field.
- Experience working with hydraulic systems.
